JUDGMENT
Surendra Mohan,J.
The petitioner has filed the Writ Petition seeking the following reliefs:
" 1. Call for the records leading to Ext.P4 and quash the same by issuing a writ of certiorari;
2. Issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ, order or direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the name of the petitioner for admission under the merit quota to the 5 year LL.B course in the Government Law Colleges in 2nd allotment or in the subsequent allotments and direct the petitioner to join the course in accordance with the prospectus and rank obtained by the petitioner, untrimmed by Ext.P4 order issued by the Government.
3. Grant the petitioner such other reliefs which this Hon'ble Court deem just and fit in the circumstance of the case."
2. Petitioner was an applicant for admission to the 5 year LL.B. Course. His case is that, on the basis of his ranking, he was entitled to be allotted either to the Government Law
W.P.(C) No.29879 of 2015 College, Thiruvananthapuram or to the Government Law College, Ernakulam but he was allotted to the Sree Narayana Guru College of Legal Studies, Kollam, a self financing college.
3. A statement has been filed on behalf of the 1st respondent producing Annexures R1(a) and R1(b) showing the college wise details regarding allotment.
4. A perusal of the same shows that, the petitioner's allotment to the self financing college was justified and that, on the basis of his ranking, he was not entitled to be granted admission to one of the Government Law Colleges. In view of the above, this Writ Petition fails and it is accordingly dismissed.
