J U D G M E N T

SHAFFIQUE, J.

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection. It is stated that he is running a resort under the name and style "Lakesong Resort" at Kumarakom. According to the petitioner, there was some dispute with the workers who are engaged in the resort and they along with certain office bearers of the Union has threatened the petitioner with dire consequences, if the suspended workers are not reinstated in service. They have also threatened the petitioner that the functioning of the resort will be stopped and they will not permit guests to come to the resort. The petitioner filed Ext.P1 complaint and since the petitioner apprehends that no action will be taken by the interference of political parties, this writ petition is filed.

2. The learned Government Pleader on instruction would submit that Ext.P1 complaint only relates to an

W.P.(C)No.30052 of 2015 incident on 1.10.2015 and necessary police assistance as prayed for was granted. Thereafter, no untoward incident has been reported.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that still obstruction continues in the locality and the petitioner is unable to function the resort.

4. The facts available do not disclose any obstruction being caused by any private parties or the respondents. The learned Government Pleader submits that if there is any obstruction to the ingress and egress to the resort, the police will ensure maintenance of law and order situation. We record the above submission of the learned Government Pleader.

Accordingly, this writ petition is closed.
