J U D G M E N T

Petitioner has been directed to pay fine of `25,000/- as per Ext.P2 proceedings of the Additional Tahsildar, Kunnathoor under the Protection of River Banks and Regulation of Removal of Sand Act. The limited request of the petitioner is that he may be given sufficient time to pay the amount ordered.

2. In view of the above, the petitioner is permitted to discharge the liability in four equal monthly instalments, commencing from 27.10.2015, and followed by 27th of every month. If the petitioner pays the amount as directed above in four equal monthly instalments, coercive steps shall not be taken against him. If he fails to comply with the above direction, respondents are free to take action against him. This writ petition is disposed of as above.
