JUDGMENT
P.N. Ravindran, J.
The prayer in this writ petition is for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to permit the petitioner to participate in the allotment process for admission to the BHMS course which commenced from 3.10.2015 onwards and to consider her candidature for admission to the said course if she is otherwise eligible. The petitioner has also prayed for a declaration that the direction issued to her to join the BDS course at Kannur Dental College, Anjarakandy, is illegal and unworkable.
2. When the writ petition came up for admission hearing today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that after the writ petition was filed, the petitioner has been given admission for the BHMS course at Government Homoeo Medical College, Iranimuttam, Thiruvananthapuram and that she has no subsisting grievance. Learned counsel submitted that in such circumstances, the writ petition
Wpc 30149/2015 may be dismissed as infructuous.
In the light of the aforesaid submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
