JUDGMENT

The petitioners approached this Court against the issuance of stop memo by the Village Officer at the instance of the District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram.

2. The reason stated in Ext.P1 stop memo is that the 2nd petitioner is cutting and removing a large number of trees and exporting without any licence.

3. This Court is of the view that the petitioner shall appear before the District Collector and apprise real state of facts and the District Collector shall pass appropriate orders, after hearing the petitioners and the 3rd respondent, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
