JUDGMENT

The petitioners in the writ petition are aggrieved by the revenue recovery proceedings that have been initiated against them for recovery of amounts confirmed against them by an award of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Palakkad. Ext.P1 is the demand notice issued to the petitioner under the Revenue Recovery Act. The total amount outstanding from the petitioners to the respondent as evident from Ext.P1 award is Rs.56,781/- together with accrued interest and other charges. Accordingly, if the petitioners pays the aforesaid amount of Rs.56,781/- in six equal and successive monthly installments commencing from 01.11.2015, then further proceedings for recovery of the amounts shall be kept in abeyance. It is made clear that if the petitioners commit a default in respect of any of the installments, they will lose the benefit of this judgment and the respondent will be free to continue the recovery proceedings against them from the stage at which they presently stand.
