Ashok Bhushan, CJ Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader. No notice is being issued to respondents 1 to 4 in view of the judgment being passed today. 2.
This writ petition is filed praying for a direction to respondents 5 and 6 to give adequate police protection to the life and property of the petitioner from the illegal threat of respondents 1 to 4. Petitioner's case is that he is conducting an air conditioning shop and is residing behind the said shop. Allegations have been made against the 1st respondent, who is conducting business in the neighbourhood of the petitioner. Petitioner has referred to complaints Exts.P5 and P6 dated 08/08/2015 and 30/09/2015 respectively sent to the Sub Inspector of Police, 5th respondent.
3.
Perusal of the complaints indicates that the complaint is general in nature and no specific incident has been mentioned
therein. We do not find this as a fit case to issue any direction, as prayed for. We only observe that if any offence is committed or there is any attempt to commit offence, it is always open for the petitioner to file necessary complaint before the police who shall look into the matter and take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
With the above observation, this writ petition is closed. (sd/-) (ASHOK BHUSHAN, CHIEF JUSTICE) (sd/-) (A.M.SHAFFIQUE, JUDGE) True Copy PA to Judge jsr/08/10/2015
