JUDGMENT

The petitioner approached the second respondent under Clause 6 of the Kerala Land Utilisation Order (for short, the "KLUO") seeking a permission to utilise the land referred in Ext.P1 for other purposes.

This Court is of the view that the petitioner's request shall be considered under Clause 6 of the KLUO after calling for a report from the Agricultural Officer of the competent jurisdiction. If the land in question is not classified as paddy, nilam or wet land in the draft data bank, appropriate decision shall be taken by the second respondent under Clause 6 of the KLUO within a period of two months.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
