JUDGMENT

The petitioners impugn their transfer from the North Paravoor, Depot to the Palakkad and Cherthala Depot respectively of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation. The petitioners contend that they have not been served with the orders of transfer and that only the order relieving them from the station is served. The alleged incident seems to be the aftermath of the National Harthal on 02.09.2015 and no substitute is posted in the place of the petitioners.

2.

The alleged incident took place on 02.09.2015 and Exts. P1 and P2 orders relieving them from Depot are seen issued one month thereafter. The petitioners have filed Exts.P3 and P4 representations seeking to cancel the orders of transfer. I do feel that an expeditious consideration of Exts. P3 and P4 representations are warranted in the circumstances. The petitioners have a case that they are

W.P(C)NO.30810/2015 being victimised by their fellow workers for having discharged them duty on the harthal day.

3.

I direct the first respondent to consider Exts. P3 and P4 representations with notice to the petitioners within a period of two weeks. The petitioners shall be allowed to work in the North Paravoor Depot till orders are passed on Exts. P3 and P4 representations as directed. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
