JUDGMENT

The petitioner claims to be owner of a tipper lorry bearing registration No.KL-10-Z-3364. He has approached this Court for release of the vehicle. According to the petitioner, the vehicle has been seized alleging transportation of river sand. The petitioner submits that at the time of seizure, there was no sand.

In the above circumstances, this Court is of the view that the petitioner shall move the competent jurisdictional Revenue Divisional Officer for release of the vehicle. The Revenue Divisional Officer concerned shall consider the petitioner's application within one month from the date of receipt of the application from the petitioner. The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
