JUDGMENT
Ashok Bhushan, Ag.CJ.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader. Though notice was ordered to the third respondent by special messenger, which has already been served, no one has appeared for them.
2. By this Writ Petition the petitioner has prayed for a mandamus directing respondents 1 and 2 to afford adequate and sufficient police protection to the life of the petitioner, employees and the property of the petitioner and to prevent the obstruction from the third respondent or their men in opening, closing of branches and day to day functioning of branches and depots of the petitioner in Kasaragod District. This Court has passed an interim order on 25.11.2014 issuing a direction to the second respondent. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits
WP(C).31335/14 that in view of the said order, at present there is no threat or obstruction.
3. The learned Government Pleader submits that appropriate protection was provided as per the order dated 25.11.2014.
In the above view of the matter, we dispose of the Writ Petition issuing direction to the second respondent as ordered in the interim order dated 25.11.2014. ASHOK BHUSHAN ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE A.M.SHAFFIQUE JUDGE vgs7/1/15
