JUDGMENT

The petitioner approached this Court with following reliefs :

A) Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction thereby direct the respondents not to allot newly constructed shop, near Kannan Varkey bridge and opposite to Passport office, Alappuzha, to any persons without conducting public auction or calling tender for the said purpose. B) Grant such other relieves which are just and necessary in the interest of justice.

The learned Government Pleader submits that they will allot rooms only through a public auction as per the relevant provisions applicable. Recording the above
