JUDGMENT

The petitioners, the Secretaries of various recognized Trade Unions, are said to be representing the employees of Malappuram Co-operative Spinning Mills. According to them, the employees of the Spinning Mills are entitled to the benefit of Section 80 of the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, in terms of Exhibit P1 judgment.

2. It is evident from the records that the petitioners have submitted Exhibit P2 representation to the first respondent. Seeking expeditious disposal of Exhibit P2 representation by the first respondent, the petitioners have filed the present writ petition.

3. In response to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned Government Pleader has submitted that the first respondent has no objection to consider petitioners' Exhibit P2 representation in accordance with law.

W.P.(c) No. 31325 of 2015 In the facts and circumstances, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader, this Court, without adverting to the merits of the matter, disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioners' Exhibit P2 representation in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
