Shaffique, J.

Petitioner has approached this Court seeking for direction to the 3rd respondent to provide adequate protection to the life of their employees from the actions of the 4th respondent and his men.

2.

Petitioner has obtained contract from Bharat Petroleum Corporation to remove sand from property situated in Sy.No.2623 of Kadakampally Village in terms of Ext.P9. The contention urged by the petitioner is that 4th respondent is obstructing the activities of the petitioner and therefore, he is unable to comply with the obligations under the agreement. Petitioner had also stated that he had obtained necessary permission from the Mining and Geology Department for removal of the sand, which expires today.

3.

During the pendency of this writ petition, respondents

W.P(C) No.31383/15 -:2:- 5 and 6 have also been impleaded as additional respondents. Though notice had been served, there is no appearance on their behalf.

4.

Having regard to the aforesaid factual situation, we direct the 3rd respondent to ensure maintenance of law and order and also to ensure that no objection is caused by respondents 4 to 6 in the matter relating to compliance of the contract, i.e., removal of sand by the petitioner and their workers, provided the petitioner has requisite licence to remove the sand from the Mining and Geology Department.

Writ petition is disposed of as above.
