J U D G M E N T
The petitioner in the writ petition has approached this Court aggrieved by the revenue recovery steps initiated against the petitioner for recovery of amounts that were directed to be paid under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
2. When the matter came up for admission, this Court had granted an interim stay of further proceedings pursuant to Ext.P6 for a period of six weeks on condition that the petitioner paid an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- to th respondents within a period of one month from 15.10.2015.
When the matter was taken up for orders today, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader, on instructions, that the directions in the interim order dated 15.10.2015 have not been complied with by the petitioner. Under the said circumstances, I am of the view that the petitioner is not entitled to the discretionary relief
W.P.(C).No.31439/2015 from this Court in these proceedings under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The writ petition fails, and is accordingly dismissed.
