Ext.P1 award casts liability equally on the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation and the New India Assurance Company. It is stated that the insurer has already paid its part of the liability. The petitioner contends that the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation is yet to discharge its liability under Ext.P1 award.
2.
It is undertaken on behalf of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation that its liability would be discharged within a period of three months. The second respondent is therefore directed to deposit the requisite amount in OP(MV) No. 2308/1995 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Kollam. The same shall be done within a period of three months from today.
The Writ Petition is disposed of.
