J U D G M E N T

------------------------- The petitioner claims to the owner and possession of exempted land under the Kerala Land Reforms Act has approached this Court seeking for a direction to the respondents 5 to 6 to permit the petitioners to transfer the immovable property to the third persons. The petitioner submits that the registering authority is not entertaining the registration for the reason this is an exempted land and there are circulars interdicting registration of such documents. The petitioner relies the judgment of this Court of this in W.P.(C) No.19461/2015 wherein this Court held that there is no impediment in transferring the exempted land in accordance with law.

2. Therefore, this Court is of the view that registering authority shall register the document in conformity with the Registration Act and other laws.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
