JUDGMENT

Ext.P1 application for regular permit put in by the petitioner is pending consideration. Ext. P4 route enquiry report has been obtained in this regard and the matter stands adjourned by Ext.P2 proceedings. The petitioner has in the meanwhile filed Ext. P3 application for issue of temporary permit.

I direct the first respondent to consider Ext.P3 application with notice to the petitioner and the additional second respondent. Ext. P4 route enquiry report shall be adverted to in the exercise. Final orders shall be passed within a period of two weeks from the receipt of this judgment.

Needless to say that a timing conference has to follow in the event of a temporary permit being granted. The timings shall be finalised after notice to all the operators on the route including the second respondent. The writ petition is disposed of.
