JUDGMENT
The petitioners have approached this Court on account of non-acceptance of basic tax in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.1912/1-5 of the Sasthamangalam Village. 2.
The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that on account of the pendency of the civil suit in respect of the land in question, the revenue officials refused to accept the land tax.
This Court is of the view that unless the civil court interdicts, the revenue officials are bound to act upon the request of the petitioners. Therefore, the land tax shall be accepted from the petitioners unless otherwise interdicted by the Civil Court. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
