JUDGMENT
The petitioner who is stated to be a member of the 2nd respondent committee filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the 1st respondent to consider Ext.P2 objection submitted by the petitioner and others against the application for renewal of registration of Islahul Muslimeen Sangam. The petitioner has also sought for a writ of mandamus commanding the 1st respondent to cancel renewal of registration already granted to the Islahul Muslimeen Sangam if the same is granted without taking a decision on Ext.P2 objection.
3.
Today when the writ petition came up for admission, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is confining his relief for the
disposal of Ext.P2 objection.
4.
I heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent.
5.
Considering the limited relief sought for the petitioner, notice to the 2nd respondent is dispensed with. 6.
It is against the renewal of registration of Islahul Muslimeen Sangam, the petitioner has submitted Ext.P2 objection before the 1st respondent. If the aforesaid objection is yet to be disposed of, it is for the 1st respondent to consider the same with notice to the petitioner and also to the 2nd respondent and take an appropriate decision, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
It is made clear that this Court has not
expressed anything on the merit of the objection raised by the petitioner in Ext.P2 and it is for the 1st respondent to take an appropriate decision in the matter, strictly in accordance with law.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
