J U D G M E N T
Shaffique, J.
The petitioner has approached this Court seeking for police protection. It is stated that the petitioner had purchased 20 cents of property in Survey No.79/2 of Karumathra Village from the 4th respondent and her mother. The petitioner claims to be in possession of the said property. It is alleged that the 4th respondent and her men have trespassed into the house of the petitioner, demanding that the petitioner should convey the property back to the 4th respondent. The matter was informed to the police. Since no action has been taken in the matter, this writ petition has been filed.

Learned Government Pleader on instructions would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the matter was enquired into by the police and the 4th respondent was summoned. The 4th respondent submitted that the property was sold to the petitioner subject to the condition that it will be reconveyed after settlement of the liabilities. After having
W.P.(C) No.32353 of 2015 -: 2 :- conducted the enquiry, the 4th respondent was directed to approach the civil court for appropriate reliefs. Thereafter, no untoward incident has been reported.

Having regard to the fact that the police had taken appropriate action and directed the 4th respondent to approach the civil court, we do not think that any further direction is required to be passed in the writ petition. We only observe that if there is any offence committed or attempt to commit offence, on the complaint of the petitioner, the police shall look into the matter and do the needful.
