JUDGMENT
The petitioners have approached this Court with the following prayers:
"(i) To issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ or order or direction directing the respondents not to interfere with the payment of land tax of the property of the petitioners.
(ii) Issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ or order directing the second respondent to collect land tax to the property of the petitioners.
(iii) Direct the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate order or direction to the second respondent on Ext.P5 representation submitted by the petitioner. (iv) Such other reliefs as the Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the interests of justice."
2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioners points out that the grievance projected by the petitioners has also been highlighted by way of Ext.P5, which is pending consideration before the 1st respondent. It is also stated that, the petitioners' grievance will stand redressed, if a direction is to be given to the said respondent, to have it considered and disposed of within a reasonable time.

After hearing both the sides, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P5 representation, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible, at the earliest, at any rate, within 'six weeks' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
Petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment, along with a copy of the writ petition, before the first respondent, for further steps.
