JUDGMENT

The limited prayer urged by the learned counsel for the petitioner is for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P8 representation, that has been filed by the petitioner in connection with the demand of one time tax under the proviso to Section 3(1) of the Motor Vehicle Taxation Act. 2.

I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as also the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P8 representation preferred by the petitioner, before him, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the writ petition together with a copy of this judgment before the 1st respondent for further action.
