JUDGMENT

Ashok Bhushan, C.J.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned State Attorney appearing for the State.

2. Petitioner's case is that crime has been registered against the petitioner on 01.02.2015 and on the complaint filed by the petitioner Crime No.1441 of 2015 has been registered against the assailants. The petitioner has made allegations against the local youths who allegedly misbehaved with the petitioner's wife. His grievance is that he was called to the police station and photograph was taken which the petitioner apprehends that that may be displayed in the police station.

3. Learned State Attorney after obtaining instructions submits that several complaints were received against the petitioner including the complaint filed by one Jesna. It is submitted that the photograph was taken only for the purpose of identification.

WP(C) No. 32572 of 2015 -:2:-

4. In the facts of the present case where the only allegation is regarding the taking of photograph, we are not prepared to accept the submission of petitioner that, that itself is a harassment for taking appropriate action.

We do not think that, in this case there is police harassment and no further orders are required to be passed. Hence the Writ Petition is dismissed.

Ashok Bhushan, Chief Justice.

A.M. Shaffique, Judge.
