J U D G M E N T

The petitioners have filed Ext.P1 application for compensation which is pending with the Commissioner for Employees Compensation (Industrial Tribunal), Palakkad. The petitioners seek a transfer of Ext.P1 application to the file of the Commissioner for Employees Compensation (Industrial Tribunal), Alappuzha. This is because the petitioners are residents of Pathanamthitta and that Alappuzha is nearer home than Palakkad.

2. Ext.P2 application for transfer filed in this regard by the petitioners is pending consideration with the third respondent. I direct the third respondent to consider Ext.P2 application for transfer with notice to the first petitioner. The same shall be done within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

3. It is made clear that any authorised representative of the petitioners is entitled to appear for the hearing proposed.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
