Today when this Writ Petition came up for final hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the name of the petitioner was included in the short list as SC candidate, he could not secure appointment and therefore the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
