~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The complaint in short is that even though Ext.P1 petition was filed by the petitioner before the District Police Chief, Kannur, no investigation was conducted in the matter. 2.
Learned Public Prosecutor submits that on getting Ext.P1 petition, the same was forwarded to the Sub Inspector of Police, Kannapuram Police Station, for enquiry. Even though the Sub Inspector of Police wanted to contact the petitioner, the petitioner is not available and in fact, he was absconding in connection with another case in which a non bailable warrant is pending against him.
