JUDGMENT
Heard both sides, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself.
2. Briefly stated, the petitioners have a grievance that the sixth respondent has been running a civil supplies godown in the property belonging to the fifth respondent without proper and valid licence from respondents 2 and 4. In that regard, the petitioners are said to have submitted Exhibit P7 representation to the second respondent. Complaining of its non-disposal expeditiously, the petitioners have filed the present writ petition.
WPC 33314/14
3. Though notice was served on respondents 5 and 6, none appeared on their behalf today. At any rate, the learned counsel for the second respondent has agreed that the second respondent does not have any objection to consider petitioners' Exhibit P7 representation in accordance with law.
In the facts and circumstances, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned counsel on both sides, this Court, without adverting to the merits of the matter, disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the second respondent to consider Exhibit P7 representation of the petitioners in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
