J U D G M E N T

The petitioner obtained property as per Ext.P1 Gift deed No.226/2014 of SRO, Erattupetta which is having an extent of 50.59 Ares in Block No 44, Resurvey 218/5 of Kondoor Village. The petitioner filed an application for mutating his property before the Village Office, Kondoor Village, Meenachil Taluk as evidenced from Ext.P4 receipt bearing No.3204923 dated 26.04.2014. The delay in effecting mutation, in terms of the relevant provisions of 'Transfer of Registry Rules', made the petitioner to approach this Court by filing this writ petition.

Heard the learned Government Pleader as well. 3.

Considering the limited extent of relief sought for, this Court does not find it necessary to go in to the merits of the case. The writ petition is disposed of, directing the 3rd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P4, within a period of 'one month' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
