J U D G M E N T

The petitioner obtained property covered by Ext.P1 settlement deed No.224/2014 of SRO, Erattupetta, which is having an extent of 2 hectares 98 Ares 10 sq meters, in Block No 44, Resurvey 318/6, 320/ 1-1, 327/2 of Kondoor Village. The petitioner filed an application for mutating his property before the Village Officer, Kondoor Village, Meenachil Taluk as evidenced from Ext.P8 receipt bearing No.3204924 dated 26.04.2014. The delay in effecting mutation, in terms of the relevant provisions of 'Transfer of Registry Rules', made the petitioner to approach this Court by filing this writ petition.

Heard the learned Government Pleader as well. 3.

Considering the limited extent of relief sought for, this Court does not find it necessary to go in to the merits of the case. The writ petition is disposed of, directing the 3rd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P8, within a period of 'one month' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
