JUDGMENT

Petitioner became the owner of the property by virtue of Ext.P1 Settlement Deed bearing No.1836/2013 of the SRO, Erattupetta. Ext.P2 is the tax receipt issued in the name of the erstwhile owner. The petitioner has moved the Revenue authorities for causing mutation to be effected in the name of the petitioner, also satisfying the requisite fees, which fact is discernible from Ext.P5 receipt, issued from the Office of the 3rd respondent. The prayer is to cause the matter to be considered and finalised within a reasonable time.

2. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.

3. After hearing both the sides, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 3rd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the application stated as preferred by the petitioner for effecting mutation as expeditiously as possible, at the earliest, at any rate, within 'six weeks' from the date of receipt of a copy of this
