Ashok Bhushan, CJ Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader. No notice is being issued to the 2nd respondent in view of the judgment being passed today. 2.

Petitioner has filed this writ petition alleging police harassment. Petitioner's case is that her husband entered into an agreement with the 2nd respondent on 28/07/2015 for selling a house. It is stated that, at the instance of the 2nd respondent, petitioner was summoned on 29/10/2015 and an undertaking was taken that she would pay Rs.22.5 lakhs to the 2nd respondent. 3.

The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that after recording the statement of the parties, it was revealed that there is a civil dispute between the parties. Hence the matter has been closed.

4.

In that view of the matter, we are of the view that present is not a case of any police harassment. Parties are at liberty to get their disputes settled in a competent civil court. With the above observation, this writ petition is dismissed. (sd/-) (ASHOK BHUSHAN, CHIEF JUSTICE) (sd/-) (A.M.SHAFFIQUE, JUDGE) True Copy PA to Judge jsr/03/11/2015
