JUDGMENT

The petitioner approached 1st respondent-The Thahsildar, for assignment of land. Ext.P1 is the application. His application is dated 16.01.2006.

2. This Court is of the view that if Ext.P1 application is pending, appropriate decision shall taken by the 1st respondent within a period of three months. However, if files relating to Ext.P1 is not traceable, it is open for the petitioner to make a fresh application. In the event, if the petitioner makes a fresh application, the Tahsildar shall find out whether the petitioner has filed any such application in the year 2006. If such application has been

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
