J U D G M E N T

True it is that the respondent has no jurisdiction to grant temporary permit for four months in respect of inter-district route without prior concurrence of the sister RTA. But there is no inhibition in law to grant temporary permit on an inter-district route for a period of 20 days.

2. I therefore quash Ext.P4 order and direct the respondent to reconsider the application of the petitioner limiting the period as one for 20 days. The orders in this regard shall be passed within a period of one week from today.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
