JUDGMENT

The limited prayer of the petitioner in this writ petition is for a direction to the 1st respondent, to consider and pass orders on Ext.P5 application, preferred by the petitioner seeking the benefit of a One Time Settlement scheme for payment of motor vehicle tax arrears.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and also the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions made across the Bar, I direct the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P5 application for one time settlement, after hearing the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The petitioner shall produce the copy of the writ petition along with the copy of this judgment, before the 1st respondent, for further action. The writ petition is disposed as above.
