JUDGMENT
The petitioner is the dependant son of an arrack worker, who lost employment by virtue of the ban of arrack in the State, by virtue of the Abkari Policy. In order to rehabilitate the dependants of those workers, the Government formulated a policy to engage those persons worked as abkari workers on daily wage basis to the 25% of the vacancies that arose in the service of the Kerala State Beverages Corporation which is entrusted with the sale of Indian Made Foreign Liquor, Foreign Made Foreign Liquor and beer in the State, from the year 2001 onwards. Ext.P2 is the Government Order and Ext.P3 is the method of selection and the manner of preparation of list for giving the benefit of
W.P. (C) No.34208 of 2015 -: 2 :- the Scheme. Ext.P5 is the list prepared by the respondents and the same has been placed before the Government for further action. In order to include the name of the petitioner also in Ext.P5 list, the petitioner has submitted Ext.P6 application to the respondents. According to the petitioner, due to the reasons best known to the respondents, so far no action has been taken, on Ext.P6 application. This is the grievance projected in this writ petition. Hence the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to consider Ext.P6 application and pass orders accordingly.
2. Having regard to the grievance projected in this writ petition, as stated above, it appears that the grievance of the petitioner deserves to be considered and addressed by the respondents, at the earliest.
3. In the above view of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider Ext.P6 application and pass orders accordingly within a period of one month from the date of production of a
