J U D G M E N T

This is a case in which the wife of the petitioner died in a motor accident while she was travelling as a pillion rider on a scooter being ridden by the petitioner. It is alleged that a Santro car came in a tremendous speed and knocked down the scooter being ridden by the petitioner. In the accident the wife of the petitioner succumbed to death. So far the vehicle was not traced out.

A detailed statement has been filed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, District Crime Branch, Kollam City. The statement shows that the Police is making earnest efforts to trace out the vehicle. They have to verify the data received from the Motor Vehicle Department. A

W.P.(C) 34454 of 2014 -: 2 :- period of six months from 28.09.2015 has been sought for, for the completion of the investigation. The said time is granted. The investigating officer is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within six months from 28.9.2015. With the said directions, this Writ Petition is closed. In case of any further grievance, it is open to the petitioner to approach this Court again.
