Dated this the 24th day of November, 2015 J U D G M E N T The limited prayer of the petitioners in the writ petition is for a direction to the 2nd respondent before whom the petitioners preferred Ext.P1 application under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act to consider and pass orders on the same expeditiously after hearing the petitioner.
2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. The learned Government pleader on instructions would submit that the applications submitted by the petitioners are pending consideration before the 2nd respondent.
On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions made across the bar, and taking note of the submission of the learned Government Pleader, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P1 application, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after hearing the petitioner.
