JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court on account of nonacceptance of basic tax in respect of the property situated in Survey No.1912/1-6 of Sasthamangalam Village.

Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that after Re-survey, the petitioner's property is lying along with other larger extent in the same Thandaper. Therefore, the respondents could not receive the basic tax. It is further submitted that after the sub division is made, they will accept the basic tax. In that view of the matter, the Tahsildar is directed to complete the process for sub division within a period of three months. The petitioner shall make a request in this regard before the Tahsildar. Based on the sub division, basic tax shall be accepted. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
