J U D G M E N T

The petitioner herein seeks a writ of mandamus directing effective investigation on a complaint filed by him. Now there is a report by the District Police Chief, Kollam City that effective investigation on the petitioner's complaint is going on, and that final report will be submitted soon. I do not find the necessity of any further order in such a situation. There is reason to believe that the crime is now being effectively investigated by the police, and it appears that the petitioner is satisfied. Accordingly, report of the District Police Chief dated 15.1.2015 is recorded, and the Writ Petition is closed. P.UBAID JUDGE ab
