JUDGMENT

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.
2. By this Writ Petition the petitioner has prayed for a mandamus directing respondents 2 and 3 to afford adequate and effective police protection to the life and property of the petitioner and members of his family against respondents 5 to 8. The petitioner has filed Exhibit P4 complaint dated 9.12.2014 before the second respondent.
3. The learned Government Pleader, after obtaining instruction, has submitted that there is some dispute regarding the office bearers of the Divine Nagar Residents' Association. He submits that the Police has enquired into the complaint and found that the incident could not be substantiated as alleged.

4. In view of the present case, we are of the view that no further direction is needed as on today. We, however, observe that as and when any offence is attempted or committed, it shall be open for the petitioner to file appropriate complaint before the Police authorities, which will be looked into.
With the above observation, the Writ Petition is closed.
