J U D G M E N T

The petitioner is a Residential association of a apartment owner. The petitioner submits that they have made an application under Regulation 7(g) of Kerala Water Authority (Water Supply) Regulations 1991 for domestic connection. The petitioner has approached this Court on account of non consideration of the application. The learned standing counsel for the Water Authority points out that the application is not under the format as required under the Appendix-C. The petitioner points out that they have already executed an agreement as per Appendix-C 2.

This Court is of the view that if the petitioner has not made an application in the requisite format, the first respondent shall intimate the petitioner within 10 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this judgment. However if the petitioner has submitted the application in the format as required, the application shall be considered within a period of one month from the date of receipt of the copy of this judgment.
