J U D G M E N T
The petitioner challenges revenue recovery proceedings in this writ petition. The petitioner is a defaulter to the Kerala State Financial Enterprises Ltd. The petitioner's only prayer before this Court is that, he may be permitted to discharge the entire liability in twenty equal monthly installments.
2. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondent opposes the prayer of the petitioner and submits that, the liability of the petitioner is more than 17,32,000/- as on March 2015. ₹
3. Considering the facts circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with the following directions : The petitioner shall remit an amount of 2,00,000/- (Rupees ₹ Two lakhs only) on or before 10.07.2015. If the petitioner remits the above amount as stipulated above, he is permitted to discharge the entire liability by way of fifteen equal monthly installments starting from 10.08.2015 onwards. If the petitioner fails to honour any of the conditions stipulated above, the revenue authorities are free to proceed against him.
