The petitioner, who is faced with a demand notice under the Kerala Revenue Recovery Act, for recovery of amounts confirmed against him by a final determination order passed under the Kerala Toddy Workers Welfare Fund Act, 1969, seeks only some time to pursue his appellate remedy against the final determination order.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 2 as also the learned Standing counsel for the 3rd respondent.

3. On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions made across the bar, I direct that recovery steps pursuant to Ext.P1 notice as against the petitioner shall be kept in abeyance for a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, so as to enable the petitioner to work out his appellate remedy, against the final determination order, under the

W.P.(C).No.34828/2015 Kerala Toddy Workers Welfare Fund Act.

The writ petition is disposed as above.
