JUDGMENT
The petitioner is retired as Second In Commandant from the Border Security Force. The petitioner submits that he had an unblemished record of 371⁄2 years in the Border Security Force. The petitioner submits that he was denied promotion illegally by respondents. Ultimately, by virtue of Ext.P1 order, his seniority was restored. However, he points out that several juniors were promoted overlooking him. It is submitted that in the month of February, 2014 a reply was given on the petitioner's objection regarding promotion. Thereafter, the petitioner has preferred Exts.P6 and P7 appeals. The petitioner submits that these appeals have been forwarded by Ext.P8 to the first respondent. The petitioner's only request before this Court is for an early disposal of Exts.P6 and P7 appeals.
W.P.(C) No.35055 of 2014 2 Considering the facts and circumstances, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider Ext.P6 and P7 in the light of Ext.P8 within a period of three months after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
