J U D G M E N T

The petitioner is a provisional Conductor in the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), recruited through Employment Exchange. He joined duty on 03.09.2008, at Kollam Depot and transferred to Thiruvananthapuram Central Unit on work arrangement. The petitioner, while working so, during April, 2010 felt severe pain on his joints and could not perform duties with effect from 03.04.2010. So he underwent Ayurvedic treatment continuously from 03.04.2010 to 31.03.2014, as shown by Ext.P3 Medical Certificate. After treatment, the petitioner approached the 2nd respondent, requesting to re-admit on duty. As he was absent for long time, the 2nd respondent did not admit him for duty and he asked the

W.P.(C) No. 35214 of 2015 -: 2 :- petitioner to obtain sanction from Chief Office. Therefore, the petitioner sent Ext.P4 representation, to the 1st respondent, requesting for re-admission to duty. But, the same has not been considered so far. This is the grievance ventilated in this Writ Petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. 3.

Having regard to the grievance highlighted in this Writ Petition, the 1st respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on Ext.P4, at the earliest, at any rate, within a period of one month, from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
