JUDGMENT

The petitioner confines his relief to an early consideration of Ext. P1 application pending with the respondent. The same pertains to the renewal of trade license to enable the conduct of business by the petitioner.

It is reported that the question of enhancement of license fee is pending consideration with the Ombudsman. The petitioner volunteers to pay the pre-revised license fee as a condition for grant of trade license.

The respondent shall consider as to whether the trade license could be issued to the petitioner on payment of pre-revised license fee. This is because the issue of enhancement of license fee is pending consideration with the Ombudsman for Local Self Government Institutions.

I direct the respondent to pass final orders on Ext. P1 application with notice to the petitioner within a period of one month.

The writ petition is disposed of.
