Ext.P2 order of transfer and posting of Mechanics from Peroorkada unit to Venjaramoodu unit in Thiruvananthapuram District is impugned.
The petitioners contend that there is no administrative exigency and that the order of transfer is against the existing norms. That is a matter to be agitated by the petitioners by appropriate representation to the second respondent Managing Director.
2. It is reported that the petitioners have already submitted detailed representations to the second respondent. The petitioners are free to submit representations to the second respondent if not already done. Such representations shall be dealt with by the second respondent within a period of two weeks after due notice to the petitioners.
3. The respondents submit that the order of transfer was effected for strength adjustment and for administrative requirements due to the Sabarimala season. Therefore the impugned order of transfers
W.P.(C) No.35420 of 2015 etc.
shall be implemented and the petitioners are liable to be relieved from the present station (if not already done). The petitioners are at liberty to report for duty from Monday onwards. It is however made clear that such implementation would be subject to the final orders to be passed by the second respondent in the representations if any filed.
The Writ Petitions are disposed of.
