It is the case of the petitioner that the regular permit holder is not operating the route Chottanikara - Aluva - Peringala. Thus, the petitioner filed Ext.P1 application, seeking regular permit on the same route. He is the owner of a tax paid idle vehicle bearing registration number KL-17-B-7710. According to the petitioner, the said route passes through the ill served rural areas and the granting of temporary permit to him is beneficial to the interest of travelling passengers also. Hence, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P1.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

3.

Having regard to the averments in the Writ Petition and the submissions made at the Bar, the

W.P.(C) No. 35499 of 2015 -: 2 :- respondent is directed to consider and pass order on Ext.P1, at the earliest, at any rate, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
