J U D G M E N T

The petitioner is the holder of Ext.P1 regular permit to operate on the route Ponnani-Kozhikode-Guruvayur, as Limited Stop Fast Passenger, in respect of stage carriage bearing registration number KL-54-B-6002 and the said permit is valid up to 28.11.2015. Before the expiry of Ext.P1 permit, the petitioner preferred Ext.P2 application, for renewal and the same is pending consideration. While so, the petitioner filed Ext.P3 application, seeking temporary permit, for four months, so as to continue the service, without any break. The grievance of the petitioner is that Ext. P3 application, has not been considered so far.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner

W.P.(C) No. 35731 of 2015 -: 2 :- and the learned Government Pleader.

Learned counsel for the petitioner confines his arguments to the limited extend of issuing a direction to the respondent, to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 application, for temporary permit. The respondent is directed to consider Ext.P3 application,as expeditiously, as possible, at any rate, within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of the copy of this judgment. The petitioner shall be permitted to operate under Ext.P1 till orders are passed on Ext.P3 application. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. Sd/- K. HARILAL, JUDGE DST //True copy// P.A.
